REDLINE

Methodology

Six modules. One vulnerability report.

Every analysis runs your text through six specialized modules, each designed to catch a different category of messaging risk. The result is a structured vulnerability report — not generic writing feedback, but a strategic assessment of whether your communication will achieve its goal.

01

Message Clarity

Identifies your primary message and evaluates whether it aligns with your stated objective. Scores clarity on a 1–10 scale and flags buried leads — important points hidden below less critical content.

02

Attack Surface Scan

Finds the specific lines critics, journalists, or opponents will weaponize against you. For each vulnerability, Redline writes the hostile headline someone could generate from your words and suggests a concrete fix.

03

Stakeholder Lens

Maps how 4–5 different audience groups will receive your message. For each stakeholder, Redline predicts their likely reaction, the first question they'll ask, and whether your message achieves your objective with that group.

04

Commitment Audit

Classifies every promise or pledge in your text as a hard commitment, soft commitment, non-commitment disguised as action, or accidental commitment you may not intend to keep. Flags the gap between what you're saying and what you're actually promising.

05

Tone & Empathy Scan

Detects tonal issues that undermine your message: empathy deficits that make you seem indifferent, self-centering language that shifts focus to you instead of affected parties, euphemistic distancing, and mismatches between your tone and the stakes involved.

06

Missing Elements

Identifies what your audience expects to see but doesn't find. Flags obvious unanswered questions, accountability gaps, and content that's absent given the document type and context — the silences that become the story.

Overall Grade

After all six modules complete, Redline synthesizes the findings into an overall letter grade (A through F) with an executive summary. The grade reflects how well your message achieves your stated objective — accounting for vulnerabilities, tone alignment, audience reception, and completeness. Accepted tradeoffs are noted but not penalized.

OPT

Optimize

After reviewing your report, generate an optimized draft that fixes critical vulnerabilities while preserving your voice and intent. Every change is shown with a rationale. You can then score the revision to see your grade improvement side by side.

Security & Trust

Your content is sensitive. Redline is built with that in mind.

  • All data encrypted in transit via HTTPS/TLS.
  • Content stored securely and accessible only to the authenticated account holder.
  • Analyses processed via Anthropic's API (Claude), which does not use API inputs to train its models.
  • No content is shared with third parties beyond the infrastructure providers needed to operate the service.
  • Delete all your data — analyses, presets, account — at any time from your Settings.
  • Automatic session timeout after 30 minutes of inactivity.
